If you go to OHRID you will have one FREE service

Our tourists who decide to visit the most attractive lake in North Macedonia will be exempt from parking fees.

This was announced by mayor of Ohrid, Konstantin Georgievski, who handed over a part of the fence that was placed in front of the parliament from 1936 to 1956 to Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.

The mayor of Ohrid said that the delivery of part of the fence was a sign of friendship between the two nations and he invited the citizens of Serbia to visit Ohrid.

He emphasized that the decision would be adopted stipulating that all the visitors from Serbia would be exempt from paying parking fees in that town.

„Ohrid Town Assembly will make a decision that all Serbian tourists will be exempt from paying for parking in Ohrid this season“, Georgievski said.

Namely, that part of the fence was in front of the Parliament from 1936 to 1956, after which it was dismantled and transferred to Ohrid, where it decorated the villa Biljana, where Josip Broz Tito occasionally stayed.

The fence is made of wrought iron and it was designed by architect Nikolay Krasnov.
