„Discrimination“ of American goods in Serbia
Ambassador to the United States of America to Belgrade Kyle Scott has said that there is an unfair treatment of American goods in Serbia.
At the assembly „Sustainable recovery in the Balkans – Serbia in the leading role“, Scott has said that Serbia has number of trade partners, such as the EU, China, Russia and the United States, but „it is difficult to say that Serbia treats all its partners equally.“
Scott has said that higher customs tariffs are charged for the U.S. goods in Serbia opposed to the other way around, begging the question whether it is fair that entire categories of U.S. agricultural products do not have access to the Serbian market for security reasons.
