Construction of a railway bridge near Beska has begun
The company RZD International has begun the construction of a two-track railway bridge near Beska, on the section Stara Pazova – Novi Sad of the Belgrade-Budapest railway, it was announced today.
As it is stated, the bridge will be built near the Beska station and the works are currently done on clearing the territory and geodetic marking.
The construction of the viaduct will take about a year and a half, and upon the completion of all the works on the project, passenger trains will be able to travel at the speed of up to 200 kilometres per hour on this section, and freight trains up to 130 kilometres per hour.
RZD International is carrying out the modernisation and construction of the two-track railway on the section Stara Pazova – Novi Sad, in the length of more than 40 kilometres, including the construction of the bridge.
