BK Television Running for National Frequency Broadcast

The owner of BK group Bogoljub Karic, will apply at the Regulatory body for electronic media concurs to receive a national frequency for his television BK, says newspaper Danas.

Serbia needs a television which will satisfy the needs of people and families. This is so we can have three generations of people sit by the screens and not be frightened of what they’re going to watch or what is going to be broadcast. This will be a family, cultural and fun television. BK will only fill the void nobody tried to fill for the past few years. Many have tried, however, due to a lack of financial aid, nobody made this endeavor a successful one.

The decision to open a public concurs was made by the council of REM during the public caucus last week. Karic, as reported, found out about this opportunity from the journalists of the newspaper ‘Danas’.

‘This is the first time I am hearing about this concurs, and of course we will apply. We will see what happens then’, told Karic.
