Belgrade won another ATP tournament from the 250 series
The director of the Serbia Open tennis tournament, Djordje Djokovic, stated that Serbia received yet another license from the ATP tournament, just before the Roland Garros.
“As we announced in previous weeks, our goal is to increase the number of tournaments in Belgrade. I am very proud to announce that, officially, as of May 22nd this year, we have a new ATP tournament, a new 250 license, a one-year license due to a change in date of the Roland Garros”, said Djokovic during the draw for the upcoming Serbia Open.
“We hope that we will be able to return audience to stands as soon as possible,” Djokovic added, pointing out that the new ATP 250 series tournament, which will be played in May, is a great thing for Serbian sports and tennis.
