Arrived in Belgrade from Forbes’ list and announced major investments

Mallika Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer of the company TAFE has announced that this company plans investments in production facilities in Serbia worth several millions.

TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited purchased “Industrija masina i traktora Beograd” – IMT in this year’s April for around RSD66 million.

Srinivasan has emphasized that company will mainly be focused on production of mechanization intended for small households, as they represent majority in our production.

Srinivasan has pointed out that company also plans investments in production facilities in Serbia worth several millions.

According to her, company goal is to produce 5.000 tractors a year in Serbia, and it will also enter the market of the Russian Federation, upon meeting all necessary conditions.

Prime Minister Brnabic has said that Serbian government will provide all necessary help and support to company management, in order to realize plans for the following period as easy as possible.

TAFE CEO Mallika Srinivasan, who reached 63rd place at 2017 Forbes’ list of top 100 richest people in India, has so far visited Serbia on several occasions.
