Along with coronavirus, crisis rages in BiH, but the state „has“ EUR 170,000 for new vehicles

Although the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic requires the tightening of the belt, the officials of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly have launched the purchase of three official vehicles that will cost citizens BAM 282,051.28, VAT excluded.

The public procurement was announced under the title „Procurement of cars for the needs of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH“, and including VAT, the taxpayers will pay more than BAM 337,000, i.e. more than EUR 172,000 for these three limousines.

The criterion for the selection of bids is the lowest price, and the delivery deadline is 30 days.

Knowing the current circumstances, the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on the BiH economy, and how much politicians themselves are trying to publicly proclaim the need for savings, the question arises as to the justification of such a purchase, reports Klix.
