Air Serbia announces: We are expanding the fleet, two more NEW AIRPLANES

Air Serbia has announced that two new turbo-propeller airplanes, type ATR 72-600, which the Serbian national airline will use on regional flights, will arrive in Belgrade during May and June.

As it is pointed out, Air Serbia continues to renew the regional fleet by renting new aircraft of this type, which began in January and will be finalized by the end of the year.

The new aircraft, marked YU-ALW and YU-ALX, of the Serbian national airline, were manufactured in 2017 and they are newer than the other aircraft in the ATR fleet, and both airplanes have 70 seats.

It is specified that the plane with the designation YU-ALW received the visual identity of the Serbian national airline in Montpellier, France, and it is expected to arrive in Belgrade in early May.

“The ATR 72-600 aircraft, YU-ALY, which is currently the youngest member of our fleet, has proven to be an excellent choice for flights on our routes within the region. We are convinced that the arrival of two more aircraft of this type will further contribute to our operational efficiency and an even better travel experience for our passengers,” said Air Serbia’s CEO Jiri Marek.
