„Aerodromi Srbije“ moving headquarters to Nis

Adoption of the Law on Moving Headquarters of the enterprise „Aerodromi Srbije“ from Belgrade to Nis is expected in the next few months, the Mayor of Nis Darko Bulatovic stated.

On Thursday, at the opening of the International Tourism Fair in Nis, he said that the process of amending the law is in progress, and it should be presented to deputies in the Serbian Assembly in the next couple of months, the „Niske vesti“ newspaper reports.

„Changing headquarters of the enterprise „Aerodromi Srbije“ tells us how much our city is supported by state. As of two days ago we have new-old flight route to Malmo, and my first assistant Mihajlo Zdravkovic, resident of Nis, has been elected Director of „Aerodromi Srbije“, Bulatovic said.

He reminded that, until 2015, the airport in Nis had no flights and for decades before that it was in a very difficult situation. „There was one flight or none, and now we already have 10 destinations, and as of July we will have 12 more,“ Bulatovic said.
