A record „FLEW“ above us: 3,201 flights in one day
Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services (SMATSA) had a historic record on Saturday, August 17th, when 3,201 flights were conducted in the airspace it controls. Since the beginning of the year the number of flights has increased by around nine percent, when compared to the same period last year, SMATSA reports. Despite increased volume of traffic, extremely high level of safety has been preserved, with delays that are several times smaller than in countries of the region and Europe, SMATSA reports.
