
„ANTI-VAXXERS stand no chance“: More than 42 percent of Serbia has been inoculated
According to an official data, more than 4.01 million doses of vaccines were given in Serbia by 10 pm on Saturday, of which 2,279,000 were second doses, which is slightly more than 42 percent of those who were completely inoculated in population older than 18 years of age, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Mirsad Djerlek said.
„We have crossed 42 percent of inoculated adults and we are moving towards the goal, which is to have three million people who received two doses in Serbia by the end of June,“ Djerlek stated with RTS.
According to the statistics of the City Institute for Public Health, 652,101 people were inoculated in Belgrade by Sunday, which is 46.9 percent of those over 18 years of age, and 525,701 people or 37.8 percent respectively received both doses.
He states that the anti-vaccination lobby stands no chance, no matter how strong it is, if state system is well organized.
