Minister: Serbia has prepared DIGITAL CERTIFICATES on immunization
Serbia has prepared digital certificates on immunization, which will enable easier movement and travel outside the country, the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Tatjana Matic said today.
She stated with RTS this morning that the digital certificate is not a COVID passport.
„It’s a different kind of document. The EU withdrew from it, as it also contained the number of passport, some data that had no place to be found there. The digital certificate says when you were vaccinated, recovered from the coronavirus or did a PCR test that came negative,“ the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications emphasized.
She says that Serbia has already prepared digital certificates, and many countries are interested in negotiations, including Greece, Israel and Slovenia.
One of the options, she says, is for the digital certificate to exist in the form of a mobile phone application, while checks and authentications must be passed. There will be, as she adds, more options.
