CORONAVIRUS: Another 27 infected in Serbia, a total of 249

A total of 249 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on March 23^rd, 2020. From the last report until 3 pm on March 23^rd, 2020, samples were taken from 61 individuals, of whom 27 tested positive and 34 tested negative for the new coronavirus. Of the 27 confirmed cases since the last report, 19 have been hospitalized, being in stable overall condition, while 8 have mild symptoms and are at home. By 3 pm on March 23^rd, 2020, a total of 822 individuals who met the criteria of the case definition were tested in the National Reference Laboratory of the Torlak Institute.
