Dualno obrazovanje

In case you did not know, Serbia is already „welding“ gas pipeline

Serbia has started another strategic investment – the construction of the national gas pipeline, from Bulgaria to the Hungarian border which will deliver gas from Turkish Stream.
For Gastrans, the joint Serbian-Russian company that is building the gas pipeline, there are no more obstacles – they also got building permits. At multiple locations the terrain is being prepared, channels are dug and, at some locations, pipes are already being welded for the gas pipeline which should enter Serbia from Bulgaria near Zajecar and reach Kanjiza and Horgos, where it should enter Hungary.
The works are divided into four sections, which will fit into the gas pipeline route with the pipes that will be placed under the rivers – Crni Timok, Velika Morava, Danube, Tamish and Tisza.
Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic says that specific activities on the implementation of this project, i.e. the construction of the gas pipeline, started on April 25.
„The first quantities of pipes began to arrive, they are on the route, so the contractors, including a significant number of domestic companies, are implementing this project in accordance with dynamics and our expectations,“ Antic explains.
They do not expect any problems with financing: 30 percent of the funds are provided by the shareholders of Gastrans – Srbijagas and Gazprom, the rest is project financing.
