Only 1.5 kilometres of highway through the gorge is to be completed

Until completion of the section of highway through the Grdelicka klisura, another kilometre and a half of that road remains to be done, the juridical ministry has announced.

State Secretary at the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Miodrag Poledica has stated during the visit to Predejane loop that five construction sites are active on that section, in total length of 26.3 kilometres.

“Works are mainly conducted on slopes and equipping of tunnels Predejane and Manajle, which is important for safe opening of traffic on the entire highway. Construction works on Corridor are ongoing seven days a week, while work on most critical parts is round the clock,” Poledica has said.
