Approved: „Telekom Srbija“ taking over yet another operator
The Commission for Protection of Competition of the Republic of Serbia has approved the acquisition of Nis based „Polaris Media“ enterprise by „Telekom Srbija“, its business being distribution of media content, announced the Commission. The majority owner of „Polaris Media“ is Bulgarian citizen Maksim Veselinov Zajakov, and total revenue of this enterprise in 2018 was around RSD 240 million. The Telekom Group includes „Telekom Srbija“, „mts Antena“, „YUNET“, „Kopernikus Technology“, „Radijus Vektor“, „AVCOM“, „MASCO“, „BPP ING“, „SAT TV Meteor“, „Telemark Systems“, „EXE NET“, „JM Oscar“, Limes and Vision, „SRB Digital“ and Charlie Plus. Telekom has a 50 to 60 percent share at the market of internet services in Serbia, and from 40 to 50 percent share in distribution of media content.
