A therapy for the health system: Every six months, 50 new doctors
Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar has said that, in order to keep young doctors, the state will employ 50 new doctors every six months, as it recently employed 100 best graduates.
He announced that in the upcoming period, the state would approve more specializations, doctoral studies and increase the salaries of employees and with such a program, Serbia should become a leader in health care in the region in three to four years.
„For now, we do not have a problem like other countries – that no one applies when vacancies for doctors are announced. We will do everything to prevent the appearance of this trend, which currently exists everywhere in Europe, by recognizing, through the system, young doctors as soon as they complete their studies,“ said Loncar.
