Loncar: We are working on removing MARIJUANA from the list of NARCOTICS
The Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar, stated that Serbia, as a member of the United Nations, will honour the decision of UNODC to remove marijuana from the list of narcotics, and stated that Serbia is already working on that.
At a joint press conference with the Minister of Health of Northern Macedonia, Venko Filipcet, Loncar said that there was no reason for Serbia not to respect the UN decision.
„We are already addressing this issue and we, as a member of the UN, will honour everything. We are working on it and as they imagined, there is no reason for us not to implement it without endangering the citizens and the legislation,“ Loncar said.
He added that decisions related to this will be made by the greatest experts in our country, and, stating that this is an extremely sensitive topic, he asked everyone not to guess in advance what and how it will be, but to remain patient.
