Brnabic: There will be vaccines FOR EVERYONE, ONLINE applications for immunization are commencing

We will have a vaccine for everyone who wish to be vaccinated, we have agreements with various manufacturers for eight million doses, which is what is necessary for four million people, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic emphasized, announcing that as of Monday citizens will be able to apply for vaccination online.

„We will have a vaccine for everyone who wants to be vaccinated. We have agreements for eight million doses, which what is necessary for four million people. I believe that only that number will be enough, but we will have additional quantities if necessary,“ Brnabic emphasized in her statement to journalists.

She conveyed that she expects the first location for vaccination to be opened at the Belgrade Fair by the end of next week. From Monday, as she said, citizens will be able to register on the system through which they will be able to express their desire to be vaccinated.

She conveyed that Serbia received 18,525 additional vaccines produced by Pfizer-BioNTech on Monday. She also said that the relevant Chinese institutions have approved the export license for Sinofarm vaccines, as well as that an additional half a million „Sputnik“ vaccines are expected.

„We met all the preconditions to start with mass vaccination,“ Brnabic said, emphasizing that Serbia will have two million vaccines by the end of January, and an additional 1.3 to 1.5 million doses of vaccines are expected in February.
