CEFTA opens GREEN CORRIDORS at some border crossings

The implementation of the system of green corridors at some border crossings within the CEFTA region begins today, and when the prescribed technical requirements are met, other crossings will be included in this system, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce announced. The system of green corridors is being set up to facilitate traffic and trade in goods in the region, under the conditions of significantly slower transport due to additional measures of the protection of borders and population against the coronavirus pandemic, the SCC announced on its website. Green corridors represent a system of border crossings under a special regime, at which customs and other procedures will be accelerated. Border crossings in this regime are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In Serbia, this system will include the border crossings in Sremska Raca, Presevo, Gostun and Merdare.
