Vinci requested permission for a concession

French company Vinci has requested the permission from the Commission for Protection of Competition for the concession of the Belgrade airport „Nikola Tesla“, said the chairman of the Commission, Miloje Obradovic.

„Vinci spoke to us about the concession for the Belgrade airport and filed a notification of concentration,“ Obradovic told the reporters.

He added that this application will be processed in accordance with the legal deadline of 30 days from the day the application was filed.

He additionally stated that Vinci also addressed the Commission for Data Protection, and the Commission is considering this conclusion.

Representatives of the French company Vinci Airports and the Government of Serbia signed a concession contract for Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade on the 22nd of March. The duration of the concession is 25 years, and the value is 501 million euros.
