Serbia’s February Inflation 0.3 Percent
Serbia’s monthly inflation rate in February was 0.3 percent, while the annual inflation rate was 1.5 percent, according to official data.
The growth of consumer prices was 0.7 percent in comparison with the previous month, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia reported.
Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose by 2.7% in February, while prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages went up by 0.7%, as well as transport (0.4%), furniture, furnishings and house maintenance (0.3%) and restaurant and hotel services (0.1%).
Clothing and footwear prices fell by 1.7%, while communications prices decreased by 0.2%.
