Management and representative trade unions of Telekom Srbija signed an Agreement on the Terms of the Voluntary Leave of the Employees
In order to implement the project of the organisational transformation of the company Telekom Srbija and because of the need for improved efficiency of the business processes, an agreement was reached between the management and the representative trade unions of Telekom Srbija. Bearing in mind that the number of the employees in the company under the age of 30 is under 1%, and the number of the employees older than 50 is almost 50% of the total number of employees, it is clear that Telekom Srbija has to change the age structure of its employees in order to adequately respond to all technological changes and challenges on the market. The implementation of this agreement creates the pre-conditions for the employment of young people of different personnel profiles.
The agreement defines the criteria, method, procedure and dynamics of optimizing the number of employees through the voluntary leave program.
In the last 15 years, Telekom Srbija has been periodically announcing calls for application for the voluntary departure of employees under very stimulating conditions. Such calls for application generate a lot of interest, therefore, in the above-mentioned period, thousands of employees voluntarily accepted the offered conditions. What distinguishes this call for applications from all the previous ones is that the company has secured the highest budget so far for the implementation of the program for the voluntary leave and under the best conditions for the employees.
The agreement was signed by CEO of Telekom Srbija, Predrag Culibrk, Executive HR Director, Drasko Markovic, President of the United Trade Union of Telekom Srbija, Slavoljub Kandic, and President of the Trade Union of Telekom „Srbija“, Miroslav Joksimovic.
