Galenika is waking up: Six new drugs arrive
After eight years, in the first quarter of 2019, Galenika will launch six new medicinal products, which is the first step of the new owner, Brazilian EMS company, towards returning the old glory to this former pharmaceutical giant, reports the Blic daily.
These products are from the range of cytostatics, antibiotics, medicinal products used for the treatment of genitourinary tract, cardiovascular diseases, and immunosuppressants used in the therapy of patients after organ transplantation.
They are registered in the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, and in addition to them, the production license was also granted for three dietary supplements that should soon be available on the market.
The former pharmaceutical giant did not produce any new drug for eight years, which led to a drop to the market share of only 6 percent on the Serbian market, compared to the previous 60 percent share on the big Yugoslavian market.
