The minister provided precise information: Here’s how much the average electricity bill will INCREASE IN PRICE

Citizens will soon receive an increased electricity bill in their mailboxes, and minister specified how much the increase will be.

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, has stated today that, with the requested electricity price increase, the difference in the bill for average consumption will be between RSD 280 and RSD 320.

„That is the request of „Elektroprivreda Srbije“ to the regulatory agency, an increase of 6.5 percent. When all that is calculated, I expect it to also be published by the end of the month,“ Mihajlovic stated with „Prva“ TV station.

According to her, the difference in the current bill of the average Serbian household for consumption and the bill from the moment of the electric energy price increase will be between RSD 280 and RSD 340.

„It is very important that this increase occurs, even though it is not popular to talk about it. But it is necessary, everything in the chain from which electricity is made has increased in price“, said Mihajlovic.
