The “ Hawkeye“ caught the eye of big cities in the region
The City of Belgrade is negotiating with two large cities in the region that would buy the „Hawkeye“ system, Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic announced.
The Deputy Mayor presented the „Hawkeye“ system to the mayors and representatives of nine Serbian towns, which successfully controls legal and illegal parking downtown.
Vesic pointed out that the majority of citizens are satisfied with the work of the „Hawkeye“ system, which paid off in a little over a month of its deployment.
He emphasized that the system was made in Serbia and it exists only in our country.
„Nowhere in the world is there a system that performs four functions at the same time. Currently, two functions are being used – charging for parking and charging for illegal parking, while from spring we will control outdoor areas of coffee shops and potholes on the roads through the same system,“ Vesic specified.
He pointed out that the software for all interested Serbian cities will be free, as well as professional assistance of the Parking Service and the Belgrade Communal Militia in the implementation of that system.
