Average salary in October RSD 66,000

The average net salary in Serbia in October this year amounted to RSD 66,048, which is an increase of 9.9 percent in nominal terms and 3.1 percent in real terms compared to the same month last year.

The median net salary for October 2021 was RSD 50,000, which means that 50 percent of employees earned up to that amount.

The average gross salary calculated for October amounted to RSD 91,132 and it is nominally higher by 9.7 percent, and in real terms by 2.9 percent than a year ago.

The growth of net salaries in the period January-October 2021 was 8.9 percent in nominal terms and 5.3 percent in real terms, while the growth of gross salaries was 8.7 percent in nominal terms, i.e. 5.1 percent in real terms compared to the same period last year.
