„Apartment prices will continue to go up, we need new NOVI BEOGRAD“

For more than 30 years, we have not been building enough and we now need a new Novi Beograd, a completely new part of the city, which would allow the construction of 15,000 apartments a year, and this in turn could meet the demand in the capital city, in five to 10 years, Nebojsa Nesovanovic, Director of Consulting and Evaluation in the South East Europe Region of the CBRE company said for N1 TV.

He points out that an increase in apartment prices is expected in the coming period – at least in the next two to three years, and he, therefore, advises those who plan to buy an apartment to do so as soon as possible.

Although the prices of square meters and the sale of real estate are going up, according to Nebojsa Nesovanovic, we do not have a „boom in construction“, but a chronic deficiency of construction.

„We need twice as much construction in order for the market to be supplied at all,“ Nesovanovic noted.

Regarding the fact that almost every vacant lawn in Novi Beograd is used as a construction site, he points out that we need another Novi Beograd, a new one.

He says that we need to construct more in order to be able to slow down the increase in prices.
