Theatre on Brdo still STAYS on Brdo: Repertoire for March comes soon (PHOTO)
The Theatre on Brdo will remain where it was – in the area of the Cukarica Cultural Centre.

“Dear audience, it is with great joy that we inform you that the Theatre on Brdo will remain on the premises of Cukarica Cultural Centre! Thank you for your persistence and support and for being with us during this challenging time. In the next few days we will be releasing a repertoire for the month of March. You will then be notified of changes in the ticket buying process, so please follow our announcements. We are looking forward to seeing you again at the Theatre on Brdo,“ it is stated in the post.
As a reminder, actors Viktor Savic and Andrija Milosevic, who are also the founders of the Theatre on Brdo, announced on December 30 that there would be no extension of cooperation with the municipality of Cukarica and that this theatre would, therefore, cease to operate in the hall in which it had been located thus far.
A few days later, on January 4, Cukarica Cultural Centre announced, „taking into account that the contract has expired, the Cukarica Cultural Centre considered the possibility of further development of the Cultural Centre as of 2023 and a plan was adopted for the formation of an amateur theatre, choir, and cultural and artistic society with the aim of education and artistic development of young talents“.
