Serbian government plans to legitimize employment of foreigners
The Serbian government has formed a task force tasked with proposing how to innovate the legislation on foreigners and their employment in Serbia by January 13.
The decision published in the Official Gazette states that the task force will prepare draft amendments to the Act on foreigners and the Act on the Employment of Foreigners, or a new text of the two regulations.
Previously, the task force will analyse existing regulations in the two acts. The task force is headed by Nenad Paunovic from the PM’s office and Danijel Nikolic from the general secretariat of the Government of Serbia, and the members include ministers Goran Vesic and Jelena Begovic.
In the twenty-eight-member group, there are four others from the office of the Prime Minister of Serbia, and 11 representatives of the Ministry of the Interior.
