Serbian government decides: Ban on wheat and corn export is LIFTED

At the session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, a decision was made to abolish the measure banning the export of wheat and corn. Such a decision was made due to the analysis of the current situation and stocks of wheat after the harvest, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced.

„Free export will be in force until the beginning of autumn when a new assessment of the situation and total stocks of key cereals will be carried out, and further steps will be taken accordingly,“ the ministry said.

Furthermore, at the session of the Government, a decision was made on the approval of the export of 4,000 tons of refined sunflower oil in bulk.
