Nova.rs: Municipality president grants financial aid to herself and her deputy

President of the municipality of Bajina Basta, Vesna Djuric, has granted herself and her deputy, Milenko Ordagic, solidarity assistance in the amount of RSD 49,500.

The aid, as stated in the decision, was approved for overcoming the consequences of the energy crisis, Nova.rs reports.

The decision states that president of the municipality of Bajina Basta, Vesna Djuric, was approved the payment of solidarity aid in the amount of RSD 49,500, in order to help overcome the consequences of the energy crisis, the Belgrade-based portal reports.

The explanation states that the Special Collective Agreement for Employees promotes an employee’s right to solidarity aid to improve the material and social position of an employee in accordance with the measures prescribed by the general act of the employer and the available financial resources. As explained in the decision, solidarity assistance is paid according to the following criteria – to an employee whose net salary amount is up to RSD 50,000.00 in October in the year in which the solidarity assistance is paid, in the full amount of the determined solidarity assistance.

The same decision was approved for deputy president of the municipality, Milenko Ordagic, who will also receive RSD 49,500 to help overcome the consequences of the energy crisis.
