Minister Kisić „providing a bonus payment“: RSD 10,000 to welfare employees
Welfare employees, who are in the COVID system, all 5,372 of them, will receive a one-time financial compensation in the amount of RSD 10,000 each, stated the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Darija Kisic.
Darija Kisic pointed out for the Tanjug agency that the Ministry initiated the proposal, and the Serbian government adopted such a conclusion.
She reminded that employees in welfare institutions have been making maximum efforts for more than eight months to prevent the virus from spreading among users of welfare institutions, but also to detect the infection in time and prevent further spread if that happens.
According to her, users of those institutions are at the highest risk when it comes to various health complications, if an infection occurs.
The Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali stated that RSD 10,000 will be paid on Friday as one-time financial support to healthcare employees.
