Mihajlovic: More than EUR 20,000 for „SUPERMEN“ directors, and RSD 20,000 for errand runners

Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, has explained why she will propose personnel changes in certain public companies, emphasizing Srbijagas and director Dusan Bajatovic.

Srbijagas is late with its obligations in the construction of the TurkStream section, where neither procedures nor processes are clear, as well as in the gasification of Serbia, the minister told the Kurir daily.

She stated that Srbijagas had 14 affiliated companies, in four of which it had 100% ownership.

„And the director Dusan Bajatovic, who, I guess is a superman, in almost every one of those 14 companies, appointed himself either as a director or as the president of the Supervisory Board. And not only himself, but also his own group that ‘runs’ the company,“ the minister said.

She said that Bajatovic’s team included director of Transportgas, Stevan Dukic, Bajatovic’s deputy, Blazenka Mandic, and the executive directors Jovica Budimir and Milan Djukic.

She added that these people received directors’ salaries in Srbijagas, while, at the same time, they received benefits in the amount of 5,000 to more than 20,000 euros per month, which is 10 to 40 times more than the average salary in Serbia, and they „try to hide their activities from the ministry as if these were their privately owned, rather than state-owned enterprises.“

„Every euro they took, but did not earn it in affiliated companies, is a damage that these directors do to every citizen of this country, from errand runners who receive RSD 20,000 a month to engineers and university professors. I will neither watch that nor allow it, I will fight,“ said Mihajlovic.
