Mali announces: Minimum wage will spike at least 14%

Finance Minister Sinisa Mali has said that as of January 1, the goal will be to increase the minimum wage by more than 14 percent.

Mali told Pink TV that the minimum wage would be defined by September 15 and that the intention was to reach 60 percent of the labor burden.

„When you look at how much revenue the state has given up through taxes and contributions – that is 115 billion dinars, which shows how committed we are to making the whole economy more attractive,“ said Mali.

He said that as of November 1, the pension increase was planned to be nine percent, and as of January 1, the pension increase would cumulatively exceed 20%.
