The Serbian national football team directly qualified for the World Cup, next year in Qatar, after winning against Portugal 2:1 in the decisive match in Lisbon.
Serbia is going directly to the World Cup, and that is the epilogue of its fantastic performance in Lisbon, where after the turning point, the team beat Portugal 1:2 and, as the first in the group, gained the right to play in Qatar in 2022.
With the goals scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Tadic, the selected team of Dragan Stojkovic Piksi outplayed currently one of the best teams in Europe and the world, in which one of the best players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo, also plays.
It is interesting that the national team of Serbia was personally accompanied by president Aleksandar Vucic at Belgrade airport, when he told them that in case of victory, they would receive one million euros as an award.
