Brnabic: There is no need for MANDATORY immunization
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic pointed out that there is no need for the introduction of the mandatory immunization in Serbia.
When asked the question about the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, which ruled that mandatory immunization is legal and it may be necessary in democratic societies, Brnabic replied that immunization is going excellent in our country and people’s interest is huge, much better than in more advanced European societies.
She evaluated that the citizens of Serbia have shown they are responsible, they do not fall for conspiracy theories and, no matter how strong the anti-immunization movement is, they believe in their health system and institutions.
“For now, there is huge interest and there is no reason to think about the introduction of mandatory immunization. We have people who apply for vaccination on their own,” Brnabic explained.
