    Are your packages from China still missing? Postal company claims – CORONAVIRUS

    The consumer association Efektiva has said that consumers continue to complain about the problem of packages from China not arriving to their addresses, which is why they asked for a meeting with the postal company Posta Srbije.

    As they say, this is the second time that they seek a direct conversation in which they would try to get an explanation about how the receipt and delivery of shipments work, and about the possible problems that cause shipments to still not arrive.

    According to Efektiva, Posta Srbije refused the meeting, but it responded in an e-mail stating that the problem of missing shipments is caused by the global pandemic.

    „There has not yet been a full normalization of the international postal traffic. Therefore, the arrival of international postal material, both in terms of quantity and dynamics, does not take place in a manner that corresponds to regular and uninterrupted functioning, i.e. items from international traffic arrive at a slower pace,“ the company Posta Srbije wrote, adding that this inevitably affects the recipients around the world, including Serbia.

    Posta Srbije pointed out that it could in no way bear responsibility for the work of foreign postal operators, nor could it be responsible for delays, but that it was putting maximum effort in improving the dynamics of arrivals of both registered and unregistered packages.
