A new record, never better…

In the third quarter of 2018, the number of the employed reached 2,929,300 people, which is 49.2%, while the unemployment rate is 11.3%, i.e. 371,800 people, according to the data published today by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

The statement says that this is a new record for the period for which there is a comparable series of data (2014-2018). When it comes to specific numbers, the number of employees is higher by 47,400 people, and the number of the unemployed is lower by 56,400 people compared to the same period of the previous year.

The employment rate is higher by one percent compared to the same period of 2017, while the unemployment rate is lower by 1.7 percentage points.
