Zlatibor also got an INDUSTRIAL ZONE
The „Branesko polje“ business zone, spreading across 200 hectares and nine kilometres away from the centre of Cajetina, opened on Monday.
Within the UNDP PRO program supported by the European Union, the Municipality of Cajetina was chosen a few years ago as the most promising municipality in which the development of an industrial zone should be financed, thus having that in mind a business zone was opened.
The business zone „Branesko polje“ is located nine kilometres north-west of the centre of the Municipality of Cajetina, and spreads across 200 hectares of land of mixed ownership structure – municipal, private and state land. Thirty hectares of space in this zone have been currently arranged.
It has a fully built infrastructure, plots and facilities suitable for production, processing and similar plants. Capacity of electric energy fully meets the needs of the zone.
Currently, there are 30 companies operating in the zone, with a large number of workers in the field of wood processing, machine industry, textile industry, production of plastic products, construction materials, etc.
The President of the Municipality of Cajetina, Milan Stamatovic, said that the Municipality of Cajetina is available to all investors as well as the surrounding local self-governments for cooperation and pointing out the ways of managing local resources and models of sustainable development.
