Vucic proud of the past 10 years

President Aleksandar Vucic has said that Serbia has made huge strides in the past 10 years, since he came to power.

He added that he was proud of these results because the country „does not resemble“ what he inherited in 2012.

Vucic said that in 2012, the average salary was about 330 euros, i.e. almost half less than now, and that in the past decade, Serbia built more highways than in the previous 50 years and more hospitals than in the previous 60 years.

„Serbia has become modernized and changed and it showed that it could be a country of success and not of ruin and misfortune. We have had peace and stability and tremendous economic progress with fiscal consolidation. The public debt is 53.6 percent, in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic and the war on European soil,“ Vucic said.

Vucic pointed out that Serbia today earned more on software exports than in agriculture, which testified to the modernization that was carried out in those 10 years.

“Most people will say, ‘I have had enough of this arrogant scumbag,’ and I do not have a problem with that. But you can always see in the end that people are happy about the results we have made, and you can see that in all the elections,“ he said.
