
Report of a bomb at Palace of Justice, trials adjourned
Reports of bombs in schools and other public institutions in Serbia have become almost daily in recent weeks.
Yesterday, a report arrived in the Palace of Justice in Belgrade at 11.25 am that an explosive device had been placed, the Ministry of the Interior confirmed, the media reported.
Due to the tip, the evacuation of the court building was ordered, and the trials were adjourned, including the trial against acting school owner Miroslav Aleksic.
The building of the Palace of Justice houses the seat of the Higher Court, the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Second Basic Court and the Second Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Employees and parties left the building in Savska Street, and the hearings will not be held until the end of the day. A security screening of the building is underway.
