Programmers BY FAR the highest paid in Serbia

The highest paid activity in Serbia is information and telecommunications, where, according to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the January net average salary amounted to RSD 198,512, and within this domain, programmers are the highest paid, on average RSD 256,011.

In the second place in terms of income is the financial activity of insurance with an average of RSD 122,197, followed by employees in mining, whose January average was RSD 119,641, and among them the highest earners were workers in the exploitation of crude oil and natural gas, on average RSD 179,375.

The average of more than RSD 100,000 was earned by employees in professional, scientific and technical activities, who received RSD 108,189 on average in January, as well as employees in the supply of electricity and gas with an average of RSD 105,340.

On the list of those who received less than the average salary amounting to RSD 82,769 in the first month of this year, there were agricultural workers with an average income of RSD 66,367, the processing industry RSD 70,461, construction RSD 68,774, trade RSD 69,050, traffic RSD 69,068.

At the very back in terms of salary, there were employees in food preparation and serving, where the January average was RSD 46,608, repairing computers and items for personal and household use with an average of RSD 50,329, but also in tourist agencies and tour operators, where the January average was RSD 53,312.
