New measures: Limited workhours of EVERYTHING

In order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, the Serbian government has adopted a restrictive measure which implies limited workhours of everything, the Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said.

The Government accepted the proposal of medical part of the Crisis Staff to limit workhours, primarily of catering facilities, but also everything else, except pharmacies, gas stations, food delivery and third shift in enterprises, the Prime Minister clarified at the press conference following the emergency session of the Government.

„Workhours of catering facilities, shops, shopping malls and other retail trade facilities, theatres and cinemas, organizers of special and classic games of chance, except for the workhours of pharmacies, gas stations and catering and other facilities that deliver food, it is limited, thus these facilities will not work from 9 pm to 5 am the next day,“ the Government said in a statement.

Workhours will be limited to 9 pm and will last until 5 am, and the implementation of this measure will start on Tuesday, November 17th, and will last for 15 days, after which a decision will be made depending on results, primarily related to reducing the number of people infected with the coronavirus.

According to the Prime Minister, the next restrictive measure would be a curfew, but as she emphasized, that measure is not even being considered at the moment.
