Municipality of Sid and 18 settlements get new LED lighting

Another municipality in Serbia has got new modern street LED lighting. In Sid and 18 settlements, 3,419 lamps with 113 modern systems for turning the light on-off have been installed.

The contract with a private partner was signed for the period of 13 years, during which the municipality will achieve direct financial savings of at least EUR 354,121.39 and there will be no increase in current costs, and the municipality has no credit debts.

The territory of the municipality of Sid covers 687 km2 and if it had not signed a contract with a private partner for the installation of lamps for a period of 13 years, its expenses would have amounted to EUR 3,221,066.94 + VAT for electricity.

For the period of the signed contract, the private partners Petrol d.o.o. Beograd, Smart Energy Investment Kft, branch of SEI Beograd with the subcontractor HS Engineering d.o.o. Novi Sad guarantee that the financial savings to the municipality will amount to at least EUR 354,121.39 + VAT.
