Inspection closed „Savanova“ restaurant

Tax inspection has closed 10 restaurants at exclusive locations in downtown Belgrade, including the restaurant „Savanova“ which is within the „Belgrade Waterfront“ project, N1 reports.

Closing of “Savanova” happened due to illegal employment, but this restaurant, similar to almost all others that have been closed, has decided to hide real reasons for closing with furniture, and put up a notification that they are on an annual vacation.

As officials of Tax Administration stated with N1, exploitation of workers is one of main reasons for mass closing of Belgrade restaurants, besides doing business without fiscal cash registers. They add that this is not an emergency action, and the greatest degree of risk from grey market is determined in the very business activities of coffeehouses.
