Imported electricity rises by a third
The price of imported electricity to Serbia increased by 34.2 percent in September this year compared to the same month last year, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS) announced.
The price of imported products for mining is higher by 36.3 percent, while the exploitation of crude oil and natural gas increased by 37.6 percent, and the production of coke and petroleum products by 26 percent.
Furthermore, the price of the production of paper and paper products from import in September increased by 33.4% compared to the same month last year, and the price of electrical equipment by 17.1%.
The production of chemicals and chemical products increased by 27.4%, production of electrical equipment by 17.1%, and basic metals by 14.4%, the RZS said.
