CORONAVIRUS: Three people died, 247 newly infected
Three more people died from the effects of the coronavirus, while another 247 new COVID-19 patients have been registered in the last 24 hours in Serbia. A total of 2,447 confirmed COVID-19 cases were registered in the Republic of Serbia by 3 pm on April 7th, 2020. From the last report to 3 pm, samples of 1,074 people were tested, of which 247 tested positive. A total of 1,394 patients have been hospitalized and a total of 109 patients are on respirators. A total of 9,626 persons who met the criteria for case definition were tested by 3 pm in the Republic of Serbia. From the previous report, three patients, or a total of 61, died from the effects of the virus. Two men and one woman died. The average of their age is 62.66 and they all had comorbidities, i.e., several other associated diseases that contributed to the adverse outcome.
