Air Serbia transported the largest number of passengers during a single month EVER

During July, Air Serbia transported more than 400,000 passengers via regular and charter flights through its main airport in Belgrade, as well as airports in Nis and Kraljevo.

This represents the largest number of transported passengers in a month as of October 2013, since when the company has been operating under its current name.

According to the announcement of this airline, the number of transported passengers in July this year is 47 percent higher compared to the same month in 2021, when the Serbian national airline transported a total of 276,101 passengers. The number of passengers is also 9 percent higher than in the previous record-breaking year before the pandemic, i.e., 2019, when 372,839 passengers were transported.

Air Serbia expects that the number of its passengers in July this year will make up over 55 percent of the total number of passengers who travelled via Belgrade-based Nikola Tesla Airport.
