Vucic, Kovacevski and Rama open „Wine Vision of the Open Balkans“
The first international wine fair, „Wine Vision of the Open Balkans“, was opened at the Belgrade Fair and it will run until Sunday, September 4.
The first joint regional event of the Open Balkans initiative gathered around 400 exhibitors, including 40 distillers, from 22 countries in the region, the EU, but also Australia, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, the USA.
235 wineries are from three states of the „Open Balkans“: Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania.
The fair was opened by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the prime ministers of North Macedonia and Albania, Dimitar Kovacevski and Edi Rama, and it was also attended by Montenegrin Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic.
Vucic said that the members of the „Open Balkans“ initiative showed with this event not only that they were part of the world, but also that they could compete in many ways and be better in various spheres of life.
„The Open Balkans did not harm anyone, and the initiative only did good to our nations.We will make it even better, stronger and more attractive for others,“Vucic said.
